Akili is a 2.5 year senior. She is from the Gary, Indiana also the home of Michael Jackson. She also shares a birthday with President Abraham Lincoln.
Daniela Sanchez is a senior who hails from New Mexico. She is passionate about theatre, social justice, and the preservation of endangered cultures. She will be double majoring at Tufts University in Theatre and International Relations. Daniela would like to thank all of those involved in I Perform For, and she is honored to share the stage with Akili Burton.
Samuel Gutierrez is a Columbian theater major addicted to Desperate Housewives. Not only is he interested in theater, but he is thrilled to open up his vision to other art forms.
Ava Suppelsa is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Evanston, Illinois. She plays and writes a wide variety of music styles, with influences in pop, country, folk, and jazz. She has performed at venues across the country, from California to Florida. In 2015 she opened up for Grammy nominee Hunter Hayes and was named a National Young Arts Finalist in the singer/songwriter category.
Preston is a senior theatre major and is so happy to be performing with so many lovely people for a wonderful cause. She intends to pursue musical theatre next year, but hopes to stay involved in all aspects of theatre as well. Preston would like to thank Danny and Kathleen for their love and support and for being generally beautiful human beings.
Jules Slocum is a junior theatre major. She is so excited to be a part of the concert and perform with Preston.
Liza Moss is a senior vocal artist who loves to sing classical voice and opera. Liza will be working toward a BM in vocal performance next year. Most recently, Liza has performed as the Countess in a scene from Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. Liza would like to thank Elisabeth for her support and for being a wonderful duet partner.
Elisabeth Boaz is a senior vocal artist with a particular love for musical outreach in the community. Elisabeth will be pursuing a BM in Vocal Performance in the fall. Elisabeth is grateful to be a part of this year's benefit alongside so many talented colleagues. She would like to thank Liza Moss for being an incredible duet partner, a great friend, and a fantastic partner in crime for the past year!
Rachael Fornarotto is a senior in high school. She is from a small town in Idaho called Pocatello, land of the potato. She feels incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be in I Perform For. She is enjoying her last few months of high school and is excited for what the future hold for her. She hopes you enjoy the show.
